please help!!!!power wire?????

hey guys i need your help. here is the deal i have a 98 camaro with a alpine cda-7892 hu,mb quart pvf-126 61/2 componet set, 1 memphis m1 10 in a stealth box,

1 mtx ta 3401, 1 mtx ta 3404 4 channel. so when i first got the car i added the sub and amp but at that time i had a alpine 350w v12 sub amp with the factory monsoon stereo. so then i riped it all out and added the system thats in there now just with that alpine sub amp and a alpine 40wx4 amp then i upgraded the amps to the mtx amps now my lights dim when i turn it up. when i put the amp in when i first got the car i used 8 gauge power wire with a 1 farrad cap now when i switched the amps from the alpines to the mtx's this started. should i switch the wire out to 4 gauge? i have a new autozone titanium 860 cca battery. the light's dident dim with the alpine amp's so im not shure what to do. and this happens when the car is parked {started up of course} and even when going down the road. help guys. oh and im only runing front stage and the sub so im not even useing the rear channels on the 3404.
