please help! older pioneer suptuner3 audio output problem

have older supertuner 3 with cd,rcas connected to amp .sound started going in and out one day then quit alltogether.amps are turning on fine. head unit comes on and display is fine .checked all conn and rcas .problem is definatly in head unit itself localized in audio output area.is this common?can i fix it?anybody help please!

if you felt it was worth your time you could order a service manual and diagnose the problem with an oscilloscope. but it's probably best to buy another head unit.
