OK so here is what I am having an issue with. I have a 15'' RE Audio dual 2 ohm sub that is going to be powered by my sundown SAZ-2500d v.2 The amp has dual positive and dual negative inputs. should I use both? need to run at 1 ohm How should I wire to get the best possable power flow?

Being a noob, I would start with assuring you have the proper electrical system upgrades in place to run this kind of system.

I would start with the big three(google it), I would run two runs of zero gauge wire to the amp from the battery, and have two 0 gauge grounds.

Next I would go for an aftermarket high output alternator, and a second battery in the rear near the amplifier.

You amp will pull a conservative number of 200 amps. It may pull even more amps. I do not know of any stock alternator capable of putting out the juice the amplifier needs.

In the future list the specs on your equipment to make it easier for forum members to help you.

Without these upgrades, you will run into a lot of electrical problems eventually leading to the death of your amplifier from under voltage and possibly the sub woofer from clipping due to the low voltage the amplifier will get.

Back to your original question, use all power inputs provided on the amplifier.

Please post back with your specs.

You’re asking how to wire the sub for 1ohm or how to wire the amp? Sounds like you are asking about the sub and want it wired to 1ohm. Positive of both sub coils and negative of each coil wired together will make the sub 1ohm you can use one positive and one negative speaker output on the amp. There are 2 of each but they are wired together as one inside the amp.

Everything that grandam888 said should be taken seriously. Which re sub is it that you have? The lower level re subs do not handle tons of power just like any other brand the lower level subs are not made to handle tons of power Re has upper level subs that can handle the power.
