Ok so I have two Kicker DS Series 6.5 coaxial speakers. They are absolutely great when it comes to the treble, but I have a problem on the bass end on only ONE of them. For some reason the passenger speaker makes a slight humming noise when turned up, and it can be heard over music, and I don't quite understand it. The other one doesn't do it at all. This speaker has been doing it ever since I got it and my dumba$$ tried to make some new holes in the door with a drill and dropped the drill and busted the speaker face, but it's siliconed now and air tight. I must admit ever since getting it siliconed, it does sound a lot BETTER, (I don't know why) but it's still making the noise. And because of me breaking it, it voids the warranty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif. So what could it be, and what could I do do stop it?

I have them ran directly from a JVC KD-R320 Headunit, all EQ settings are on 0. Please help.

Is it easier to swap the left and right speaker wires at the back of the deck or just remove the speakers and reinstall them on opposite sides?

Either way, I would isolate the speaker/input. (Is the speaker simply reproducing an anomaly that's being sent to it, or is it making noises on its own while it tries to reproduce a clean signal going to it?)

on your eq set the bass at +2...the mid -1 ...and trebal at +4 and see how it sounds make sure your loudness is turned on....

Exactly!

Figure out the answer to that, then let's talk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
