my car is a 2000 camry.

The box thats in there holds 2 10s. Im selling my infinity perfects to my roomate. So the box im building is for a 12" type r that will be here tomorrow.

Im not really happy with the sound im getting from the perfects in the 35hz box. Its probably just the subs. Im pretty sure there made to be sealed.

They are, I would go with 2.5 cf as far as frequency it all depends on what you want. If you got room you can even go to 3.0 cf as stated above, I doubt u do in that trunk though. I got a 3.0 cf box in my car and my trunk is pretty much gone.

Well i want to go with 2.5 cu ft but the only options in the moe lester box designs are 28 and 32hz.

How would you describe the difference between 32 and 35hz?

Is it that drastic??

I think 28hz is to low. I have never built anything tuned that low.

yea i know 28 is to low. If i cant find someone to make me specific box plans then im gonna have to use moe lesters. Hopefully 32hz will sound good to me.

2.5 @ 32 hz will sound good, I just sold one about a week ago. Common box for the Type R.

Well i got the sub today. Man that type r is a beast.

I am putting this sub in my sister's WRX. I had designed a box the same as the second one within .5 inches every dimension. Thats the one i'd go with.

I'm going to make one 2.0 cubes net tuned 34-35 Hz and another 1.2 sealed thats 9.5" deep to fit better in her trunk
