Im planning on building a new box for my SX 15 and have a couple of easy questions.
Whats the advantage of a larger box/port? My last box was 4.5 cubes but I can afford around 7 cubes this time around. I noticed one member has his SX's in 8 cubes each. Would I get a deeper richer sound from a larger box?
Assuming the sub is in the front of the box, is there a difference if the port runs from top (of box) to bottom, as opposed from front to back, or side to side?
Also, are there any major disadvantages using numerous round (pvc) ports over a big slot port besides maybe a little port noise?
