Yeah, I was just asking because I didn't know if OP realized that he couldn't wire to 1 ohm with two dual 2 subs.

Yeah, im not deep in the car audio so any advice like what you just stated is great. What would give me a harder hitting setup? daul 4ohm or daul 2ohm? Im under the impression that at lower ohm's means louder/harder hitting setup, right?

How would I run this setup as well? On a 4ohm sub there's four connection right, two for positive and two negative? Do I run the positive to positive and negative to negative, then to the amp? Or positive to negative on one side then positive and negative to the amp?

Check out the12volt.com for wiring diagrams. Running subs at different ohm ratings will achieve different results but also require different preparation as well. Chances are for the subs and the amount of power you want to run you will need electrical upgrades.. Big 3 at least. If you are going to run at .5 ohm you will need an amp stable to that rating as well as at least one battery, heavy guage power and ground and possibly a battery. If you run at 1 or 2 ohm you could get off a little easier but not a lot.

All of this will directly correlate with what you are trying to achieve and how much you are willing to spend doing it. If you are a serious audiophile or plan on chasing numbers get the Amex out you are gonna need it. If you just want a loud and low daily driver you will still spend some ching but not as much. Also getting used equipment from the guys here can net you some pretty good quality stuff for a lot less than retail. I just picked up an avionixx cxd2800m and a skar vvx12 from here and haven't spent $300 yet.

Can the Sundown SAZ-1500D run at .5ohm's? And if so, whats the rms rating with it at .5ohm's, still 1500rms? And thank you Neogen for the link to the wiring diagrams.
