Please help me before I throw this mid out the window

That's the thing it looks like a completely normal soldered connection. It's not coming disconnected or anything. Yet it will cut in and out if you move the tinsel around before the connection.

The other side started cutting out anyways. Could I be clipping the hell out of these causing them to fail and not even realize it? I thought I would be able to hear the distortion. Or am I just giving them too much power? Seemed pretty modest amount.

 
4 ohms on each of 4 channels

the tweeters on the 2 other channels seems fine, the amp never went into protect when I've had it. I'm 99.99999999% sure it's the mids. I ordered new ones today so we'll see lol.
