I haven't been on a message board in forever... Anyways if the moderator gets mad at this message because I posted it in the wrong spot or it's been brought up before, I'm sorry. I mean not to piss thee off.

ANYWAYS...

I'm a newbe trying to get myself into car audio. I purchased a Pioneer dash, the model # is DEH-P6700MP, here is a link of my dash:

Now that you know what I'm working with, I need some help with what to get. I listen to mostly metal and industrial music, here is a sample of some of the stuff I like to play in my car:

What I want is a clean sound that can be heard, I like bass but I don't want it to kill or drown out my lyrics or treble. See my factory car speakers need a break from the bass, and I like to set up them to push my vocals and have a sub(s) push my bass. If I can get ANY help from anyone, that would rock.

P.S. If anyone did go to that link about the kind of music I listen too and liked it, It's my fav. band called Raunchy. Try downloading a bunch of their stuff, you might like them, especially if you like metal.

Exactly what are you looking to do? Replace your stock speakers, add a subwoofer, both? What's your budget & vehicle? What size are the stock speakers?

2002 Grand Prix SE

I want to get a system that isn't too loud, lol I heard a pair of 10" Kenwoods then some 12" Kickers, and the Kenwood 10's were too soft and the Kickers were too hard. LOL I'm so picky. Idk if it was his amp, he is a newbe at audio too, he had someone else hook it up and he likes rap mostly. What I want to get is some Boston 6 x 9 and some 6.5 with tweaters in my inside.., Based on what I heard at a place called Cartunes. I like the clear sound at high volumes. I tend to keep my music loud, just looking for the amp and woofer. If anyone has any ideas on something PLEASE help lol.

And if there is a reason I shouldn't get the Bostons tell me so, I don't know much about mobile audio yet. ^_^
