You are right, I read the wrong model.

The inline crossover I'm talking about is actually just the factory crossover for the factory tweets

Now it makes sense. Had the same in my Silverado. Setting them in parallel will work.

No mention of capacitors but most entry level components use a simple capacitor as a filter.
