okay heres my issue. when i play a song with stupid bass in it....my speakers all cut out but the subs keeps going, just a little lower volume. then i turn my car off and restart and it works fine until i throw another bassious song on..for example, the songs in order that have done this to it are....shake it like a salt shaker- ying yang twins...gorrillaz-clint eastwood....adrenaline rush-obie trice....and throw it up-lil john x2 lol

by the way i have a pioneer head unit(DEH-P7700MP), stock speakers(yes, i know..stock....they sound great through ), Power acoustik A2400DB, and a brand new Atomic AP 12. and the gain is right down at the minimum and i have not played it nearly as loud as it can go yet.

deck's internal amp overheating? try turning some of the bass off to the stock speakers or set a hpf for them if u have on on the deck
