so I Have a brand new kicker amp that is 600watts RMS at 1ohm and peak power is 800watts
I used to have a kicker 12 and the gain is about half way and the sub lasted me a couple years and still works but I got some new subs
I got dual Skar SDR 10’s 1200watt rms and 2400watt peak at 1 ohm
now I installed these subs with my kicker amp and didn’t change the gain or anything at all I have a few questions tho about how much to turn it up
yes I know if I turn the gain up to much it’ll start to clip which is bad so if with my old sub the gain was half way can I turn the gain on the amp to 3/4 of the way up and turn up the bass boost ?
because the peak power of my amp watt and the RMS of my subs are 1200watt so I don’t think I would blow them any advice will help
