Please help.... cd changer placement

Right now I have the cd changer in the changer compartment in my Jetta. However, my subs hit so hard, it makes the cd changer skip. Would I have any better luck mounting it to the rear deck?

Does anyone have a system that hits hard and have any luck with mounting the cd changer in the trunk without any skipping problems?

It's probably the CD mechanism in the unit vibrating... I would consider moving it outside of the trunk, maybe glove compartment, under a seat?

Hey you are in Oregon too! You ever go to the DB drags Stereo king puts on? WHat shops have you had good luck with?

yeah under the seat would probably be best. If not glove box is next.
