Thanks for everyone's help. I got the stereo installed and working with steering wheel controls. However, it sounds like ****. It's like the stereo has no power. When I try to turn it up it distorts. It seems like the stereo power is being lowered somehow.
Now, I have the stereo installed, but the hbyl-04 has 2 RCA connectors. The instructions say to connect to aftermarket stereo Aux input. My Kenwood stereo does not have Aux RCA input. Am I missing something again? Might not having these RCA cables plugged in cause the stereo to sound so bad?
Everything works, it just sounds very weak. My stock stereo sounded much better. I feel like I'm just missing something, but not sure what it is.
Any help you can provide would be very much appreciated.
