yea but a lot of them are,i live in the hood too,and thats the only place i see them, if you dress like a gangsta,talk likea gangsta,and drive a car likea gangsta,then wonder why the cops harrass you and people judge. personally i don't judge.or at least try my best not to, but if you act the part,other people will think you are the part.it's human nature. i know several people with these cars personally, and i also know that their kids are living in shit housing and don't eat all the time because daddy spent 3000 dollars on his rimzz. makes it hard to look at others without bias.

creative is starting a trend, or doing something off the wall different. copying what someone else does is not creative. trends are just a lot of people doing the same thing someone creative did. example. lambo doors. the first guy who fabricated a kit and put lambo doors on a honda,was probably cool, the 500000 ricers who copied it,and made it a stupid fad are not.

Just so you know, those cars aren't limited to the ghetto/'burbs. Hell, I've seen several in northern Louisiana. Dr. Pepper, Skittles.... all have way too many screens. And the few with whom I've spoken aren't getting any kind of sponsorship. To each his own. But, almost all have zero concept of a clean system.

The local blockbuster car guy worked with my room mate for a few months. he had 3 15" audiobahns and a "2000 watt" audiobahn amp. Said he was one of the loudest setups he has ever heard. My buddy told him I was louder with my old setup of 1 15" L7 off 900 watts and he didn't believe it.

He sat in my Blazer with my current system and almost shit his pants. He couldn't believe how loud it got with no distortion..lol..

Around here I believe tweeters are a status symbol in the negro community. The more tweeters you have, the cooler you are. I have seen up to 5 pairs of tweeters dangling amongst their windows.

I was driving today and a car drove past me and the tweeters were so damn loud that MY ears hurt!

I thought to myself "how the hell can a person tolerate that?". They have to be half deaf or something.

As for the whole themed car thing, I don't really understand it either. It's definitely a trend thing just like anything else in history. Only certain people do it, and nobody else really understands it. Loud stereos, hydro cars that are built purely to hop, donks, etc. and so forth.

Though I will say that a LARGE majority of cars I see like this (donks and theme cars) are driven usually by very unsavory characters. In all honesty, most of these guys shouldn't be spending such extreme amounts of money on rims and shit. I, too, have seen such vehicles parked in front of shitbox houses in crappy neighborhoods. Very rarely do I see one in front of even a halfway decent house. It seems to me that their priorities are a TAD out of whack. I can understand wanting to make your car look good, but do it within reason. Spending half of your yearly income on a set of rims isn't exactly the best idea.

I have been walking on campus several times to hear "Tchhhhhhhh Tchhhh Tchhh Tchhhhh Tchhhh Tchhh" a hundred yards away from one of the themed cars/ donks. Heck, standing close to the vehicle you can't hear the words from all the "Tch Tch Tch Tch" crap from their cheap tweeters.
