No it isn't. It is onlt different because YOU wouldn't do it. It is a fad they enjoy. Quite possibly a regional fad too as I don't see it out here. Fads come and go. The price of the fad means nothing. I don't see the point to spending good money on tats all over your body, but to each their own. I also don't like how people are associating them as gangbangers or dealers because they do this. WTF?

And as far as being scared of blacks... not by a long shot. That was a joke. I grew up in a 90% black area and have kicked my share of thug ***. Not to be a badass, I've had my *** handed to me, too. Though not in a long time.

**** these are alot of mixed view and comments..im black and i view this current thing with donks is to get notice..me personally i have a maxima with the paint rims lowered tint tv's and im only 19 so i guess its a way to flash money..and yes with the money i spent i prolly could have been living in my own place but im 19(living in the hood avg yr income is right at 27k-30k a yr) and can live off the parents for a while also it makes the girls go crazy..here in NJ there afew showing up..(smufs and pinky) i have plans for a 83-89 blazer on 26's with now or laters all over it..I know some of the stuff seems ugly or over done..but where just expressing ourselves..idk..its kinda hard explain a way of life for thousands of people because everyone is different and do it for different reasons..
