Please Critique this website

I run a website for a small church. I’m in the progress of converting it to flash and need some advice or pointers. This is still a work in progress and need to know what I can do to make it look a little better and still stick with the theme (lighthouse, and colors are red and gold)

Blood red is not an appealing color for a church. When I think of a church, I think of purity which is white, or a natural color like green, not blood red.

the church colors are that particular shade of red and a ugly gold. I tried to go with the better of the 2

red was one of the colors for the drapery of the Tabernacle (along with blue and purple) so I don't see anything wrong with it

Red is a color that raises the heart beat and creates excitement. White is more tranquil and peaceful which IMO is more appropriate for a church

it does. every 2 min or so

Its a nice basic website, but I wouldn't have the Lighthouse flash on every page..just a suggestion.
