I not really a fan of rap, but the lil jon, birdman, and lil wayne stuff is pretty good. I usually just listen to it to put my alpines to work. I really enjoy listening to my atreyu, trivium, and bullet for my valentine with subs though too. I mean the double bass is just awesome when you got subs.

Anyway, if Lil Boosie is the 'right' music to listen to, I'm glad I'm wrong. I built my system to match my music. I'm not going to put in an 18" SPL sub if I listen to a lot of rock. I like bass in my rock, and when I put on rap I want it to pound. A good system will make any newer rap song hurt...the older, good stuff really didn't have too much...and by old I don't mean 2001 Boosie...isn't he the one that had the song that said ***** like 40+ times? Pathetic... Lil Wayne and Kanye West are the only two I can put up with anymore, and none of the poppy radio **** from Lil Wayne, stuff like Forever, I'm A Beast, 3Peat, Cry Out, You Ain't Got Nothing On Me, Shot To The Heart, and Burn This City. The Mixtapes, the ones he actually puts his heart into and isn't going to get millions for and have a bunch of little preppy teeny boppers going crazy over. Point is, I don't dump thousands into a system that makes shitty music sound good, I want my music to sound good..
