Saw a similar thread from back in 2010 but it was closed. My goal is to be able to play an N64 on a monitor while i'm tailgating in my car or camping. Looking it up it looks like one way would be to buy a marine battery and hook it up to an inverter. My question is would this work with my current inverter and monitor?
I already have an N64, a monitor (on the back it says 100-240v), a Cobra 800 watts continuous/1600 watts peak inverter. I would just need a marine battery. I may be wrong, but it looks like my monitor requires around 200 watts and the N64 requires around 19 watts, so how much play time would that get me on different marine batteries?
Also, would I be able to charge the marine battery with my car battery to extend life, or would it just be easier to recharge at home? I probably only need 2 or 3 hours of tv/console use each time. Thanks!
