Planning out the setup... any thoughts?

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and am planning on finally putting a pretty big system in my car. I did a lot of research the last week and this is the setup i'd like to do. It will be going in a '88 Buick Regal coupe.

-JL audio 1000/1v2 amp

- (2) JL Audio 13W6v2 in a sealed box

I'd like to hear some thoughts from the experts on what you think of this? I've been thinking about getting the 12w6v2's instead. Unfortunately the rear seat does not fold down... so i will definately have everything dynamated. Car has the factory 100amp alternator... but if needed i can always get a stronger one and do the "big three."

Will definitely sound good.. I"m not much a of a JL Fan but I like the w6 subs..one of the cleaner sounding woofers.

Here is a picture of the car. It is CLEAN!!! Believe it or not it has original 23k miles on it right now. I am also a Buick fan... had another Regal like this and a Roadmaster previously.

Question for you... do you thinking running (2)13w6's would be overkill for a small car like this? I guess it all depends on what i want, but i'd like to be the king of the streets //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

it'll be loud. there's other stuff that'll get just as loud for alot less, but it'll get loud
