planning for installing in new truch

Starting to plan the install for a 2001 superduty I am rebuilding. I have an eclipse cd8053 with the balanced line adapter and the ipc 106. I am kind of leaning towards a carputer or something similar. I have an old samsung 2 10.1 that we don't really use anymore. I was thinking of just either using the tablet as the carputer and selling off the eclipse stuff or maybe just using the headphone output to the cd 8053 and just be using it for the music storage and running like torque pro or car gauge for additional engine info.

Any opinions or advice would be appreciated. Also ideas on apps.
