PlanetAudio VX2200D good to drive 12W7?

3 ohm sub??

Should be just about right, the amp should do around 1000w at 3 ohms. Keep the gain set conservatively and you should be good to go.

by conservatively what do you mean? and what should I set the infrasoic filter too....the box is tuned to 36hz...should I set it to 36? sorry about the noob questions

I had a Planet Audio 2200d pushing 2-12" Type X's and I think it did a great job. Does the power it says it does. Comes with birth cert. For the $$$ I think it's a good amp.. I sold mine because I did'nt need that much power or I would have never sold it.

In my opinion they're a fantastic amp just wish I could find another one for a good price new. I bought my first one at electronicgiant.com and they no longer carry planet audio. I got the amp for low $200's I believe. I don't know that you can find them new for under $400.

It should have no problem pushing it. If it pushed my two X's it should wang on one W7.

I looked on the website and it did not mention it but the buyer has assure me it has one

My Planet Audio BB1250.1 amp has a SSF so the VX2200D should have one also.
