Yea It should give you around 1000@1. When I had my VX1400 I had it ran down to .7 daily and it played fine.

You could step up and get the Planet Audio VX2200 refurbished for about 300 shipped. I bought all mine refurbished and never had any issues with them and I know of 2-3 of them now that I sold that are still working fine. The VX2200D will give you a good 1600-1800rms. Have you looked into the AudiQue 1200D. $289 I believe and will give you about 13-1400rms

yep actually i think its around 160 shipped. been looking at it real hard

I've used their subs before and was suprised in the performance and durability, ive heard the same for the amps. I would say its a little better than the Hifonics Brutus line of amps, Good budget power. But x2 on checking out the AQ's also.

Had a vx model just below this one, smoked it every go**** week, had it replaced over the counter three times. Professionally installed too. So dealer upgraded me to the vx1400 free of charge. Put out good power and blew my PPI dcx102 when i wired it to 1 ohm. Sold it to a buddy, and its still going strong running one ohm for like the last 5 years. So ya, good amp for the moneys.

ok sounds like a decent amp, would would you guys give for one of these used? also is a aq 1200d a better amp?

AQ is definately a better amp. Fir the vx1400, I'd give maybe $135 considering you can find guys selling vx2200's for $250

i dont know what you guys are talking about that they are slightly overrated. the two planet audio amps ive had both came with birthsheets that said their ratings are at 13 volts, better than most amps that are 14.4 and both were overrated.

both of my amps did rated power and then some and were pretty solid amps. i owned the BB150.4 and BB1250.1
