Planet Audio

If you have noticed nobody replied to your question. All you have to do is go to the search feature type in Planet Audio and Whalaa, it will bring up all the threads that pertain to Planet Audio. Pretty Cool huh?

But the nice guy that I am I can tell you that I had a Planet Audio VX2200d. It ran it's rated power. It comes with the birth sheet showing you the true rms at all ohms and it is a nicely priced amp. Not the best in the world(or I would'nt have sold it) but it gets the job done especially if your needing a high wattage amp like 2000w or more. That 2200d will do it for a descent price. Good luck. Later......

I have a couple of the older ones made by Zed audio. P475 and they do very well.

I'm not sure about the new ones.

Good luck in your search.

all i can say is, they're garbage. what's funny is i would have never even touched one had i known about their shoddy quality sooner. it was only after i got rid of it when i started meeting local shop owners and even people online that think they're garbage. quite frankly, i have no clue how anybody can like them. my old profile put out better power than the PA i was using (vx900D). birth sheets mean NOTHING you guys... the people that like PA haven't played w/ good amps...

PA puts a whole new meaning to "handcrafted in the USA"

I dont agree, ive had a orion2500d, kicker2500.1 Crossfire vr2000. I would put my Planet audio vx2200d against any of them anyday. the kicker and crossfire will get super hot or blow at the .5 ohm i run and this thing never even warms up.

i have ran 2 VX2200d amps pushing 2 15" subs each i think may be 1ohm dont remember, but it push them very strongly and with out noticeble distortion, cliping or over heating.

in regards to that P-12050D amp, it says its strapable and its cheap so if one does not cut it, buy another and strap them for more juice.

I got a Planet Audio BB1250.1 amp and i love it to death //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I've never used a Planet Audio amp, and I'm pretty new to car audio in general. But they're a pretty big brand for amps around where I live and I've heard nothing but good things about them. One audio shop in my area has sold more planet audio amps than any other brand in the past few years and they say they have the fewest failure rates of any amp brand they've ever seen (only 1 failure since they've been carrying them). Also from what I've heard they have very clean sound. Like I said though, I'm new to car audio and have never actually owned a PA amp myself.
