Planet Audio or Hifonics?

Which company is better of the two? Im looking at getting either a hifonics bx1605D for $260 brand new with a one year warranty, or a planet audio TT-2250D for about $245 factory refurbished with a 30 day warranty.

The hifonics is said to put out 1600 watts at 1 ohm, and the PA amp is said to put out 2250 watts at 1 ohm. I heard the older bx1500d was overrated. Will the PA amp put out the full 2250 watts? I dont have a pair of subs right now.....just looking to buy a large amp for maybe some L7's.

the xx line of hifonics is good, id take it over PA, but other than that, PA!

If you go new pa has a killer warrenty 1yr over counter can be ext. 4 more yrs part and labor if installer by auth. dealer

Does the PA amp put out the 2250 watts by 1 ohm that they advertise? Could i find a better amp that puts out the same power for the same price of $240 shipped(refurbed). I dont want to be dissappointed with the quality.

I have owned some rockford and some mtx amps.....how would the tt-2550D compare to those brands?
