Planet Audio mono block goes into protect

My amp goes into protection mode when I plug RCA cables. Is it blown?

Additional details

-Green power is on till it goes into protection mode

-Lights on top of amp do not turn on

-tried different sub no change

-tried new rca cables no change

This is my first time owning this brand of amp.

I'm not sure what's wrong with it, but this might be a good opportunity to get a better amp. I've heard those amps never do their advertised wattage.

Check that you have good ground, sub impedance works with your amp, check to make sure your RCA doesn't have a cut or a short in it

Some amps have input and output RCA make sure you r using input. You running off aftermarket deck? Or you tie into speaker wire off factory? Lil more info might help
