//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif A $200 Planet Audio amplifier is going to outdo the $900 IA? Get real... I have owned many PA lines, from their top 2200w model to a 500w, and although they are decent budget amps they are in no way made better than the 20.1. It is built like a tank, can fall from 6 feet without being damaged, and will handle ANY load given to it. Show me a Planet Audio amp that is capable of that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
To the OP, get a REAL high output alt. 135A is hardly 'high' output. I ran my 20.1 off a 200A alt, and a pair of Yellow Tops. Still, with a half ohm load running at full tilt, I had some voltage drops. You don't have the power behind the amp, fix that and your problem should be solved...
To the original poster: I skimmed through your thread so I am probably repeating something. Upgrade your electrical system and your wiring. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
I agree, upgrade your electrical. My 2500d doesn't like the 4ga and stock electrical(120a Alt) in the wife's Explorer. It works fine @ 4 ohms for daily, but @ 1 ohm for burps, no workie, unless I have my foot on the gas.
