Planes, trains, and automobiles

Ever since I saw "Wheels of Terror" back in the day I've wanted to hot rod a shortie short school bus. I know where one is for sale that someone was using as a food truck and I fight the urge to buy it every time I drive by. Surprised I don't have a pic of it, I'll get one next time.

I love mid 80's G bodies, I've owned several, with the Monte being my fav. I've know several folks who have done similar to theirs, including one with a real deal Aerocoupe. Wish this one had an SS front end but I still absolutely love it.

While I love the Fox body 5.0s of the late 80's and early 90s (93 LX being my fav), and the Shelby's of '67 and '68, the '69 Boss 429 is my favorite Mustang ever. An absolute beast.

The Boss 429 is recognized as being among some of the rarest and highly valued muscle cars to date. In total there were 1359 original Boss 429s made. The origin of the Boss 429 was to fulfill Ford's need to homologate the 429 semi-hemispherical engine for NASCAR racing. Ford was seeking to develop an engine that would better compete with the 426 Hemi from Chrysler in NASCAR's Grand National Division, now known as the Monster Energy Cup Series. NASCAR's homologation rules required that at least 500 cars be fitted with this motor and sold to the general public...

When I was a kid I wanted to be a truck driver. I also wanted to be an astronaut, the President, and Indiana Jones. I thought 18 wheelers were so cool. While I still love big rigs and the sound of a Jake brake, I learned over the years that being a truck driver, always on the road, isn't anywhere near as glamorous and romantic as I had once thought.
