It doesnt matter what you tell any pitbull hater i seriously doubt you could sway their ignorance , i mean opinion. I have bred and sold APBT for over 10 years now none of my dogs are agressive towards people. It takes a responsible owner to socialize and train these dogs, not just any idiot should own one. I could make a killer out of any breed, just like I could make a killer out of any person, if properly trained and conditioned. These dogs shouldnt be shunned for doing what their owners have trained and conditioned them to do.

To me it looks like the dog was owned by the dead guy and they were both attacked by a bear.. its my story and I'm sticking to it.

I have to agree unless the guy bite the dog himself.. If you are getting killed though anything is possible... I would go right for the eyes or nuts if the dog had them though... Snap your finger snap you neck....

My sister's two pits are sucks.. (they think they are lap dogs)

On the otherhand she has had 8 or so different pitbulls and at least two of them were brutes and one (a female) was completely out of control.. and that did not have anything to do with how my sister raised the dog... the thing was vicious, plain and simple...

The cut on the dog looks to be too clean for a bite. If I posted a poodle in the same condition everyone would think its because of something else but becasue its a pit everyone assumes the worse. Dogs can snap, some are more tepermental then others. So are girls and we still talk to them. Hell any girl could cut your dick off if she was crazy enough too.

Because the fact that these dogs are so popular right now, is literally what is killing them and turning people against them. Older generations have seen this same cycle before, german shepherds in the 70-80s, Dobermans and Rotts in the 80-90s, and now pit bulls are getting the same shit. If you research the past of the breed, they were actually "Nanny dogs" in the 1920's because they were so good with children.

In that light it only makes sense to me that people such as yourself have some kind of licence to own a dog like that.. or they should be banned all together..

Where I live pits must be spayed/neutered and unless you already own one you cannot lawfully have one.. (ie they will be banned completly once the current generation dies off)

Not sure I agree or disagree with it.. but what I do disagree with is that dogs that 'look like pitbulls' are being targeted when they aren't even pits at all... WTF!

No, they are both APBT, my male just doesnt have the best conformation, but im no breeder and they are both fixed, so it doesnt matter to me.
