i thoroughly agree with riley blowing that call!

if they would've just signed gary payton, they would've been good. eddie and damon jones were huge loses. eddie jones played excellent defense on hamilton, and is a good defender. both of them can knock down 3's wich is big when you have shaq and wade scoring in the paint. also another big loss was rasoul butler. he had a great series against the pistons last year

Peja was looking really bad. That's the first game I have seen him play other than ESPN highlights. He doesn't fit in with that offense very well.

8 million is a lot of cash, especially for Peja who is past his prime. The only team stupid enough to want him are the Blazers, and I wouldn't put that past them. Look at their pick-ups the past few years... Van Exel, Brian Skinner, Wesley Person, Abdul-Rahim (not a bad pickup, just overpriced), and Miles. Blazers ****!
