if your worried about someone stealing your stuff get an ALARM

No alarm is foolproof. And even if one was, I'd rather not come back to a car with a smashed window/fecked up sills/keyholes/vandalized out of frustration.

And I do has an alarm for the record - but I would never trust it over being cautious and thinking proactively so as to avoid potential issues.

Do you ever trn your system up so loud that people behind you ride your *** or flick you off or etc...

Don't blare Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Nsync, etc anymore and you probably won't receive bad gestures.

lol. I like to do rammstein run-by's downtown on the strip on weekends and on campus after football games. Its a whole bunch of preppy drunk d-bags and I gotta spread the word, yo.

I certainly agree - my blinking LED saved me once while the two cars on either side of me got broken into. But...

If I were a thief and figured I could potentially make thousands off a single car if I risk setting off one alarm, I'm probly gonna smash the window and see what happens.

My setup is pretty loud, but my vehicle has some pretty extensive sound proofing, so I can crank it up to full tilt and it sounds not much louder than a stock stereo from the outside.

If I roll the windows down, that's a whole different story.

Remember this thread, and your attitude, the next time you read about sound ordinance laws getting more strict, or singling out car audio. And remember it when you get a ticket, and are considering coming here to whine to us about having to pay the fine.

People dont think you are cool for 'bumping'. Hell, even most people here, at a website dedicated to the hobby, think it makes you look like an ass. If you just have to draw attention to yourself, find a better way to do it.

I play mine loud but the sub level is on 1 out of 8...so the sub barely moves. Puts out enough just to hear it in the cabin. Usually when people ask me to hear what one mediocre 12 in the right box can do i play full tilt.

Also leaving it on 1 instead of 8 has kept me from making an impulse buy and expanding to more subs and amps. But that will not last for long.
