Pionner 6400 HU

I just got my system installed today (apline type R 12" and rockford 301M). I have a pionner 6400 HU and so does one of my friends. He has some other features to control his subs that i dont have. Im not sure which ones he has but he can make the sub do other things like he in b4 it hits out, turn off the amp from HU, and other things. Anyone know why i dont have theses features when we have the same HU?

What you do to turn the rear outputs to subs is turn the h/u completely off, hold down the function button like you were going to change the clock, only keep hitting it untill you come to an option that says front/rear and then hit your up and down buttons to change it. Note also though that when you do this you lose your rear speakers, all they will play is low frequncies just like the subs. But that is how you change it to front/sub.

first what you should do is turn the HU off. then hold the function button untill the clock adjustments come up. keep hitting function untill you get to dif settings for the subs and the frt speakers and stuff. if you turn off the back speakers (i believe, its been a while since i fiddled with mine) and turn on the sub controls you can turn the HU back on and go through the audio adjustments and it should be up in there somewhere. hope this helps, it took me a while to figure mine out too.
