pioneer???

1st. off i'm new to this forum and figure you guys/girls would have the best advice. anyways i'm planning a whole system out(head unit, speakers, subs, amps) and was going to go with pioneer everything. I'm familiar with their premier headunits and absolutly love them, so based off that i figure i'll try their other products out but was wondering what you guys think of their products.

Why the Pioneer exclusivity?

well i love their headunits and checked out some of their speakers up at bestbuy lately and they sound pretty **** clean hooked up to an amp(kicker amp though). know nothing of their amps or subs so i'm here getting some opinions.

been looking at one of the posts on everyones car audio fav's and nobody mentions pioneer's speakers, amps, or subs so i think its safe to assume they ain't squat.

already have one 10" alpine type-r dual 2ohm. might get another one hooked up to some amp instead. But i'm sticking to pioneer's HU. right now i got no HU, audiobahn 6.5 components up front and american pro(not positive only paid 25$ for both) 6x9's in the rear. looking to replace all speakers with something else and hook them all up to a 4 channel amp, along with subs. just shopping around right now.

i got one of my 7800's for like $130 bucks from BB, because they were discontinued.

Well their prs series is awesome, expensive but really top notch.

Rest(subs) is not really SQ based.

Not a real reason to stray from them if you are only going to get the same product somewhere else.. Now, don't let them install it... they don't normally have the most knowledgeable installers.

Pioneer does have some decent stuff, but stay along the lines of the Premiere like you have already mentioned. It is there only good stuff, all other stuff is par at best.

pioneer hu: imo probably the best

speakers: very solid

subs: great budget subs

amps: for the money you cant get more power

i have owned alot of pioneer stuff

still don't know who or what BB or CC is. never heard if it or them before. had 2 alpine type-r's in the past probably stick with that since i already have one, just need to stick an amp to them. would still like to change my speakers, any inputs on that?

what kind of budget are you workin with and are you lookin for sound quality or gettin loud?
