I've been looking at Pioneers stuff lately and I was wondering how they were because I havent heard them before. If the wattage really what it's advertised at? The TS-W5000SPL seems pretty crazy has anyone even heard it before? The TS-W####SPL series seems like a great alternative to a cliche Type-R but i've never heard them so i'm not sure.

I love my pioneers..and they will take the rated 400rms. Mine have had a legit 360 running through them since july. Never had one problem.

yea man i am currently running 2 12s 3002spl and they are really **** loud... for the price i dont think much can beat them. They take the power and then some.

The 3002/3004 spl Premier line of Pioneer woofers are very good and for the money hard to beat. I would look into those for sure. The 5000 spl sub is just crazy looking. I never heard that, but heard good things on those as well, but that aint my thang. Good luck!

Jeeper has a 5000spl hes accually trying to sell (last time i heard) looks like a pretty beasty woofer...i have a 2504spl (10inch version of the 30004) and i love it...but i've never heard it....its just sitting here.....collecting dust
