so im looking at getting a new indash and i have 2 im looking at so far the Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD and the kenwood ddx-512. i currently have a kenwood 6019 and hate that im not able to control the video features off my 80gb ipod classic. my question is which one is a better choice ive had kenwood indashes for a while and never had any issues ever. also looking at both units i noticed that they both had only 2 pre outs. how would this work if i have a 4 channel and a mono amp connected now? any info would be helpful thank you.

thats waht i was thinking but would that effect the sound quality at all? also did you have any issues with your classic playing video i herd a rumer there were issues cause of some chip built into the cables for the new classic that allowed the video to play.

Im a Pioneer fan converted to Kenwood. I have a DDX812 with nav, HD radio, Ipod video, and XM and other stuff. The Ipod interface is waaayyyy faster than my old D3. I like the Kenwood so much better all around. I would say go with the Kenwood. The Pioneer is a solid unit though.
