Typically Pioneers are much better. JVC head units are decent. The JVC R900 is pretty good. But I'd stick with the Pioneer.

that is a pretty stupid statement. it's like saying that typically honda makes better cars than toyota. every company makes products that cover a wide range of quality. i would take my kd-sh1000 over anything but the highest models pioneer produces, so does that mean that jvc makes better units? no. does the fact that pioneer headunits are susceptible to the pico fuse issue make them worse than anything else out there? no.

OP, decide on which features you want and go from there. both companies make good headunits but you have to decide on what you want vs how much you are willing to pay.

well no shit. a low end pioneer isn't as good as a high end jvc. but in general, pioneer makes better products.

Kay dude. If you really believe JVC makes better products then Pioneer then wow. I mean I don't really like either that much but Pioneer is a much better company.
