Pioneer/ Verizon capable phones....

Its time for me to upgrade my Verizon phone. Im going to be going back to a Avic-D3 with bluetooth module, and I wonder if anyone has any input on Verizon phones that will pair well with the Avic. I really like the new Samsung Gleam, but dont want to buy it and get stuck with a phone that doesnt pair well with the Pioneer.

Any phone that is bluetooth capable will be just fine.

Yea I know bluetooth is bluetooth but some phones wont transfer phone books and stuff like that to the D3. I was just curious if anybody had any experience with this phone, or had any other ideas on a better Verizon phone.

I have installed many pioneer bluetooth kits and never had a problem transferring phone books or anything like that. Do you have any idea what kind of phone it was?

It may be that some of the older bluetooth phones may have some trouble since they dont transfer files but all the phones I have used are newer with no problems.

Well Ive been lurkin @ avic411.com and alot of people seem to have problems with the Pioneer bluetooth and I didnt want to buy a phone that would be limited functions ya know?

Yeah I understand. That may be a better question to ask over there. I havent been on there for awhile so I wasnt aware of any problems.
