The Clarion will have a greater potential for SPL then the Pioneer.

As for which is better it depends on the install and application and personnal preference.

The PRS woofer is an SQ woofer and very good SQ woofer at that. I would know I run a pair of them. If you're looking to get LOUD then don't bother with the PRS woofers and go with the Clarions.

I am getting two Clarion subs xw-1500 tomorrow, and i will also need two clarion APA4320 to power them thats ****ing expensive, i will bridge every two channels to one DVC for every sub, APA4320 will output 460w rms and the subs are rated at 600rms, so dunno if the output will be ok.Also within the instruction manual they said that the sealed enclosure should be 2.4ft^3, mine is about 3.3ft^3, how would it affect the sound and subs? Thx

Clarion would be louder though
