hey everyone i have a set of these for my front stage for now. their peak rated power is 100w. anyone know how many rms i could put to these. i have them crossed over at like 700hz i think. i have a RF punch 150s that i'm gonna run them off of i think. that's like 2 x 75 rms.

thats what i figured but i just wanted to check in case someone is putting 1000rms to them or something lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D ya never know with the guys on here.... i think i will try to run about 45 to them or so... see how they fair out..... if they sound bad i'll turn it down

thanks guys!

That´s no t always true, for example check teh RMS on the infinity kappa perfect subs, it says 300-350 RMS but they have a peak rating of 1200 watts RMS.

So if what you are saying is true, they would be rated at 600 RMS, and they dont.

For some circuits this is true for some dont.

I still dont think they can take more than 40 RMS.

i never said it was always true, just a GENERAL thumb rule. maybe they overrated their sub on the max rating, or just underrated the RMS handling. who knows...but its a GENERAL thumb rule. and i've seen many perfects run 600 watts RMS already. its all in the box design. put them in a very small box. you'll learn that it takes a lot of power just to get the sub to reach full excursion before it over-excured itself and blow. its all in the box.
