My friend just got 2 12" pioneer ts-w306dvc and 2 pioneer gm-7100t mono amps.

he paid $400 for both amps and $150 for both subs. i told him, he paid too much, i could of gotten them long cheaper.

Anyways just wondering if a audiobahn aw8002t amp would make the subs sound better then the pioneer amps?

One other thing, should i break them in? how long? at what volume?

-Going to be installing them tomorrow. i o really build him the boxs, might post some pics next week

he spent way too much on amps, but that doesnt mean he didnt get good quality equipment. I doubt the bahn would make any difference.

Don't bother to break them in.

i bet that setup could work very well given the proper install. dont be surprised if it wangs and sounds decent. i woudnt get the audiobahn amp. breaking in dosent have to be much more than not beating them up for a few days. then wang away. use the gain setting tutorial, and he'll be in business.
