I have read Pioneer rca problems on here before but I was out tuning my saz 1500 on my sub when it just went blank no sub I thought maybe amp went into protect but no. Go back a check and its fine so I switched the rcas from my 100.2 and subs come back on. Anybody have this problem before rcas just going bad and is there a remedy? Its under warranty should I just take it back to store or is it cheap fix the store is 2 hours away.

I grounded the rca's to fix a whine on a older pioneer deck i had, dunno about fixen a problem where it cuts out completely. If switchen the rca's from one amp to the other worked I'd go get another set of rca's and get it over with.

Did you switch the rca's completely? disconnect from front rca lead on the deck and the rc lead on the amp, then connect it to the sub output lead on the deck and then on your sub amp. Or did you just swap them out at the amp end?

fixed problem I guess it was not the head unit but somehow the rcas I put on completely new rca's that I had here and bam bass again , don't know how the rcas could just go bad, kicker ones at that.

yea they were bought in a kit oh well better than the head unit but very weird they went bad , I feel kinda stupid now thought it was head unit.
