pioneer REV's

Incredible midbass... even off of HU power. Ran an ultra-tight budget subless/ampless system for a few years with 6x9 REVs on rear fill/bass duty and you could feel it in your chest slightly. Great speakers for the price.

I thought the tweeters were a bit bright when i had my 6.5's upfront but im considering them again for my 00 honda civic but im not sure yet.

THey have a high sensitivity and play very low which is always a plus off HU power.

Like my component set. Like stated little too bright on the tweeters. I have them on the -3db setting on axis and they get too harsh if I turn the gain up.

You guys think these play really low and have good midbass? I was a little dissappointed. Like what frequencies are you talking about? How high do you have the HPF set at?

I just installed a set of D702P's yesterday ( which is the updated /08 version of the REV's as I understand it. Woofer material in now as used in the PRS series.) This 6 3/4" coax is MUCH bigger than the 6.5" Polks that came out. ( The cone is 0.4" wider across alone!) The whole speaker is just beefy. They aren't broken in yet but I already like them ALLOT. I'm runnin them as rear filler on unfiltered 50 RMS. Mid base seems to be greatly improved and the (oversized) tweeter is not harsh to my ears at all(even when I fade and crank). Allot of speaker for the $ IMHO.

p.s. I've been seeing the 07 and 08 flavors on Ebay fairly regularly.
