Pioneer REV vs. Premier???

For christmas, Im thinking about getting a pair of coaxials for my brothers Lancer. He doesn't want to get comps.

Would either the D702P or D170R be good choices? He is going to be getting a new HU I think. I dont think he plans on getting an amp.

Whats the difference between the REV and the Premier?

What do you guys think?

The Premiers are def worth the upgrade over the Revs. I had the Revs in my old setup and I was demo'd the Premiers' in a salesmans personal vehicle. They are so much more "full" sounding and the tweets are brighter. .02.

never heard the revs, but the 6.9 premiers i have sound pretty good. (doesn't mean much, i am new to this and i just upgraded from pyles :/)
