Hi,

I recently bought Pioneer PRS-X220 and now I was looking for some decent subwoofer for a good price. I found this

Subwoofer Pioneer TS-W305C Specs:

Size: 12 inch

Rec. Sealed Box Dims: 1.10 - 1.30 cu.ft.

Rec. Ported Box Dims: 1.20 - 1.40 cu.ft.

Free Air Usage: not recommended

Sensitivity: 89 dB

Frequency Response: 18-2,500 Hz

Recommended RMS Power: 400W

Peak Power Handling: 800W

Impedance: 4 ohms subwoofer wiring options

Amplifier - Pioneer PRS-X220 Specs:

LPF/HPF Network : : 50-120 Hz, -12dB/oct

Input level/gain control

PWM regulated MOSFET power supply

RCA gold-plated input and output terminals enabling Link Top connection for system expansion

Low load impedance capability (1-8 ohm)

High Voltage input capability (400 mV - 6.5V)

High performance balanced isolator circuit

Reversible endcaps for installation versatility

MOSFET output section

DIN power output (W) (DIN45324, +B = 14.4V) 2 x 87 or 1 x 313

Continuous power output (RMS)

14.4V

(20-20kHz/4ohms), 2 x 30W

(20-20kHz/2ohms), 2 x 60W

(Bridged 4 ohms), 1 x 120W

12V

(20-20kHz/4ohms), 2 x 30W

(20-20kHz/2ohms), 2 x 60W

(Bridged 4 ohms), 1 x 120W

Frequency response (Hz) 10 - 50,000

Distortion (%) 0.01

S/N ratio (dB) 100

Max. current consumption (A/4ohms) 19.2

Chassis size (W x H x D mm) 264 x 65 x 240

What do you think? Will the amplifier handle the power of the subwoofer or should I look for some less powerfull subwoofer with less rms power??

Best Regards,

hey, i got a pair of 12 inch ts w305dvc's in the trunk of my infiniti g20. i have a tiny *** kicker amplifier (kx150.2) borrowed from a friend till i gets mines in the mail (tsunami 1000d), and with so much lilttle power from the lilttle kicker (75x2 rms at 2ohms) them subs kick hard as shit. not competition kinda loud, but shit, for that much power rms, its definatly loud... i cant wait till i get my amp (1000x1 rms at 1ohm)

ok bottom line, the 305dvc's are the shit, your hearing this from a guy that has never owned jl audio, nor audiobahn, but has heard them, and knows how much they cost.

for the price of these subs, it gets no betta...
