pioneer priemier subs?

I know you guy probably seen my post about getting 4 12's well I THINK I found a sweet deal on the pioneer priemier TS-W3004SPL 1,000rms each cost $99+$38=$137 shipped..anyone try these out and know how they stack up againts L7's and RE sx's???? i mean for the price and power handling it seems a good deal.........

I can tell you that they are great subs. i have two of the 2000SPL's (last year's model). I havnt heard an L7 or an SX, so I couldnt comment on the comparison, but they get loud as balls. SQ is relatively lacking at loud volume, but I rarely listen to them at that high a volume.

i have the SPL3002's.. dual voice coil 2 ohms each... i ****'n love em they are very brutal.. they hang with the xxx.. definately great for the cash. they hang with the l7 spl wise.. sq wise.. not so much at volumes above comfortable listening level...., but it's what? 1/4 price of the l7, so i cant complain.. and i'd never listen to it that loud again with me in the car.

Those pioneer subs are f....ing great man they hit hard and nice and they can handle lots of power.

Remember pioneer is the world champ with subs very much like the TS-W3004SPL

They are actually very different. But yes the 3004s can get loud. Like stated above, if you dont care to much about sq, then go for it. They dont sound that bad though.

I've been tryin' mine out for a little while in a sealed box; Sounds good, so great for the cash; It's loud enough, but I have doubts as to it's true wangageâ„¢

It may be able to handle huge power, but it doesn't sound like it's gonna get much louder; I'm feeding mine about 600 before it sounds iffy.

i don't know if i would go so far as to say that...but they are great budget subs especially if looking for SPL...
