Pioneer Premier TS-W3002SPL

Hey again boyz,

I was talking to a vendor and he told me that he would sell me pioneer preimers cheap. Are they good for my application (loudness, and pounding bass). Again dont yell at me for posting this lol i really have no experience, and just want some feedback so I can get my ideal system. Do you recommend these over the Kicker l7's. Thanks guys for all the help.

you will find alot of people compare the the type R to the W3002

the pioneer is a bit louder but over all very comparable. you are lookign for SPL and the l7 will walk all over both of those subs. very similar TS parameters however the l7 has more moving mass.

IMO the L7 is a big step up from the 3002. not to mention that you are looking at a 15 inch kicker and a 12 inch pioneer which puts it even farther behind.

THats true, those are the 2 subs im deciding between. I guess I'll go with the kicker, I want the most bass I can get.

the tsw is more comparable to the r because they are basically the same price..the l7 is way more then the r or the tsw...still one of the best bang for the bucks out there

It's all in the install. Any of these mentioned subs could be louder than another one, depending on the outcome of the install.

But yes the L7 will kick it's butt for spl. But at the same time your looking at about an extra $100 (if you look on the net) and probably at least another $150 if you buy in stores.

So it kinda depends on your $ situation. But if you have the $ get the kickers. As the name says, they KICK

actually they are not cheaper then type r's bro...they are in fact a tad more expensive...you can get r's for $130 shipped...tsw's are usually $135 to $140 shipped...all those stores that sell the tsw for $100 will charge you $40 for shipping so don't forget that...

true. But i was saying IF you can get them cheaper. There are some websites that sell them for 120 or 130 and dont charge much more than about 20 for shipping. And some of the local shops near me will be selling them on their christmas sale for about 88... so thats considerably cheaper i think
