Check out CJ's review over at diyma. Great set, especially if you are planning on going active. Keep in mind the guys over there are hard-core SQ guys, so don't let some of the comments sway you.

I've heard then on 2x75w rms, 2x100w rms, and 2x150w rms and they sounded really good with all of them.

I found them very sharp but the setup/tune wasnt the best id seen if you like pioneer and cant afford a set of high ends they look like a good buy but the tuning will have to be spot on in my opinion to get rid of the sharpness of the highs although you may like it like that

Yes, they live up to their hype. For the money they can be had for they are a steal.IMO
