Pioneer Premier DEX-P9 & DEQ-P9 combo with Premier 12 disc CD Changer

Includes all the IP-Bus cables and manuals.

Everything worked when taken out of a dead Taurus in summer of 2011. Just sitting in a closet since my wife (guess who wears the pants?) won't let me install it in our cars that we share.

The remote does have a loose button but still worked (that should be an easy fix).

I did have this listed a year ago and changed my mind because I hoped to eventually change the boss' mind...didn't happen so here it is.

$725 free shipping is US

This is one sweet setup....I thought about going this route on more than one occasion.

Any ipod input?
This unit was from a while back, so no iPod or MP3 compatibility. It does have the option for an auxillary input through an IP-Bus adapter.

Having said that...my CDA-7949 was around before iPods, but it does have some control over it with the use of the iPod adapter. It recognizes the iPod/iPhone as a CD changer. It's limited to switching tracks up and down, fast forwarding through a track, pause, repeat, and shuffling the songs within the playlist it's on. It will not switch playlists or search. So basically I pick the playlist I want to use and hook up my phone to the adapter. I do not know if the case will be the same if the older Pioneer iPod adapter is used with this setup.

I was going to get this adaptor for playing my mp3 player: Amazon.com: Pioneer IP-BUS to 3.5 mm Aux Input Cable: Electronics

I don't believe there's one out there that allows you to control the mp3 player through the deck. It would allow you to select Auxillary on the deck and control volume and I believe that is it. I miss my 50 disc cd changer (died...after servicing a couple of times) that I used with this deck. I fondly remember listening to this set-up just sitting in my car in the garage. Loved playing with it and changing the EQ, Xover, and TA settings...

I'll see what offers I get...I could always get a divorce //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/escape.gif.52b661afb17bde1db0e0c7da97e75b38.gif

It's still available. When is a good time to call? I could call tonight but it would be around 11:30pm central time (12:30 for you?).

Otherwise, I can call you tomorrow evening.
