Pioneer Premier DEH-P480MP a good HU?

Right now I have a Sony CDX-M630 HU and it is really starting to go to garbage.It's one of those motorized flip down face HU.

It worked good but a few months ago started crapping on me.

Volume buttons only work if you hold the face plate up and sometimes when I push the source button to go from FM to CD or vice versa it will close the face instead of switching over.

I have had my eye on the Pioneer Premier DEH-P480MP.

I like that it isn't a motorized slide down face and has a large rotary volume knob instead of buttons and it's an upgrade from my sonys 3 sets of 2 volt pre amp outs as the DEH-P480MP comes with three sets of 4 volt Pre-amp outputs and also has an oversized display is WMA/mP3 ready and Ipod hook up available.

What do you guys think of the Pioneer Premier DEH-P480MP?

Good buy?Any HU's better for $130-$160?

For that pricepoint it's certainly a solid unit.

Also look to the Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X590 and the Eclipse CD2000. Both capable units also around your stated budget.

A buddy of mine just got this unit and we messed around with it for awile...seems like a very nice low budget cd player. If you like the green, that is.
