I was thinking about getting 4 of these and a 4000 watt amp, they are just $99 bucks and are rated at 1000w rms. Has anyone had any experience with these or know of anyone who has? I think I may atleast buy one and see how it sounds and go from there...I like that it doesn't take a huge box to make it work properly...If anyone has any info or input on these subs please share it with me..Thanks...Joe

i had some old pioneers with that same surround but it had a boob dustcap or something. they sound good and for 99 bucks, thats a great deal.

i have 2 of these. heard good things but havent hooked them up yet though. Im building a box right now and if anyone has these... whats the displacement of the sub and does the recommended enclosure include that? sounds weird but i have heard it does and want to find out the truth. thanks

I have 2 of them. They are good subs. Those exact ones. You ever make a trip to chicago, I would sell you mine. I think I'm gonna do a 1 sub deal in the build I'm doing now.

are you serious about that? I do stuff in cu.ft. and thats about 2.5 each. Is that after displacement or before and what did he do for porting, i want to tune mine to 35hz.
